Anyone using a f75camo Ltd? And is there much of a difference. From the Camo to the f75se? Black. Thank you. HHDean Reynolds. Long time friend of. Tom ct t

I'm using the F75 LTD original camo. Have not used the newer unit so I can't compare them.
Cheers,

I"m running the camo and what I`ve read over the years is it may be a bit more stable around emi? hh rick in mi

Some say different software. Some say t2se better and deeper. My thinking after reading. Was to ask actual users here. I'm thinking with boost and cache its gonna be roughly the same. I read a post by Mike Scott on the Teknetics form that said the only difference in the software with the Teknetics machine was due to lcd supplier so I guess the Ltd and se with bp cl would be relatively the same except for color and minor component changes. Guess performance would be similar. Great!!!!!!!! If I'm wrong feel free to let me know. I'm always willing to learn. Gotta keep the mind sharp! HH. C t

The F75 LTD I have certainly is deep in many varied situations. I like that it will ground balance to the wet salt sand at ocean beaches. It is not one of my main beach detectors, but knowing it is capable, means that If I can only pack one detector for a trip, it may be the F75-LTD. The small coil is deeper than expected and gets a lot of use for me along school sidewalks. I have both the 5 inch that come with it and the 6 inch elliptical. I kind of like the 6 inch elliptical, but both small coils are very good.

I normally run boost mode. Primary reason for me keeping it in boost mode is that boost likes a slower coil speed. The sweep speed that hits the sweet spot in boost mode is more to my liking than the faster sweep it likes in DE or most of the other modes. Cache likes the sweep even slower, but I don't often use cache mode.

One of the first things I noticed with the LTD, when I got it, was how it was turning up an incredible number of dimes on edge in areas that I had pounded with other detectors. Kind of made me wonder how I had missed them.

It is susceptible to EMI. The cure for most places is to turn the sensitivity down. You can step through the frequencies, but I have not found the same benefits of doing so that some users have reported. I've run with the sensitivity as low as 10, to run quiet, and still gotten coins in the 6 inch depth range, sounding off loud and clear.

Can't compare it to the T2 either, as I have not hunted with that one.

Well thank you. Very nice response. Emil isn't an issue for me except in one particular park I hunt. About 8yrs ago the army corporate of engineers hurried something in this park and oddly enough emi became an issue my tejon was unusable my exp 2 as well. Not sure what it is but this park is about a quarter mile from a small airfield. Also some days no emi and others. Undetectable. Again thank you for the input on the. Ltd. HH. Dean Reynolds. And. Funny you mention the Tejon. Since I got the LTD, I still hang onto a Tejon for two reasons:
- Clean sweep coil; while the coil gives away a little depth, it quickly vacuums up sports fields and larger tot lots.
-There are a couple areas that I still don't get the LTD to run as quietly as I'd like with the EMI around, and the Tejon runs quiet at those places.

Other than those items, the LTD is like a Tejon on STEROIDS.

Yup I like the tejon when run hot I found nickels and some gold at great depth. I'm just waiting on the f75 only do parks in the summer and I'm thinking it's a good one to find deep stuff in parks. I just traded a cibola which I liked as well. I'm more a tone hunter. But metering has its merits. HH. Dean

From what I was told is that they are the same. The ltd was just that, a limited edition. I know that each one of the camos I got in were different in camo patterns. I can see how it would be much more cost efficient for Fisher to spray them black..I have used both and still use the se. I will say the newer se's do seem more stable then the older ones.

Thank you Larry. Got the ltd now arrived last Thursday. I like it better than the t2se. Seems to be cleaner sounding and I believe a narrower. Detection width. In trash great so far. Ran into another fellow at a school with the black se. 75 couldn't tell much difference other than color. HH
