Fake gold nugget ring transformed into copper...

REVIER

Well-known member
It wasn't hard, just threw it in the tumbler for awhile after I found it in the woods and realized it was as copper underneath the tarnished plating when I tried to clean it.
Now I have a pretty unique ring and it looks way cool.
I will sell it one day to someone that is into copper.

Like it a lot!!

Nice ring! :clapping:
where is the universal law that prohibits the manufacture, distribution and sale of fake rings?

Hey, at least it wasn't fake marked gold.
I have found more than my share of rings like that and a few chains.

My 1st ring that I found stamped 14k inside was exactly like this ring. Gold looking on the outside when I found it, but it ended up being copper. It was frustrating at 1st, because it was not stamped gold plated 14k, but someone had stamped it as just 14k. I ended up keeping it though. It is a cool looking ring. It is my second large copper ring. They are quite cool looking. Nice find. HH
