How did the Fall hunt go? you say.
I had a wonderful day watching all the friends I've made today, all out doing their thing. Each one a master of his own art. Each one working so very hard for the find of the day.
There were only a few coins found today. But something much more valuable was found. For me to explain it would be far less effective than if you had lived it.
This hobby produces some of the best people from all walks of life. And you know what? Everyone is Equal. Hell, we're Peerless. This is my 4th hunt and never had a bad group.
Thank you to all who contributed, GOV. and GoldDigger for the digging tools. Streeter Electronics For being generous contributor, Jules for being our Photographer and ready to help with most anything he's ask to. Without hesitation.
To Brian, who volunteered to come to Walpole to help organize and bring the western group to the Hunt site.
Ron, what can I say? Your help was greatly appreciated. You did much more than I could have expected of you. Without your extra efforts and the help from Brian and Jules and all those that have made contributions, this Hunt would not have gone as smooth as it did.
I got in my truck and saw a card on the seat. I moved it and got in, thinking, I'll read it when get home.
When I did read it, my eyes filled with tears before I got past the first sentence. All I could see was all those signatures.
Thank You all for the Best Hunt ever.
Mistakes made during these hunts are too numerous to mention. But there is one mistake I made that calls for my apology. It completely slipped my mind to introduce Gov., Mike and GoldDigger. Sorry guys. You have my permission to throw stones at me. Really am Glad you all showed up and f you give me another chance, you won't be disappointed.
