Sounds like too much inferior steel from China being used and I hope your Minivan (though bought used) is one of them that is repaired and recoated to preserve it from corroding farther! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

i feel for ya!!!!! i have a 2001 dodge dakota dead in my driveway. needs a new engine. i owe $6,600 on it but im not going to fix it!!!! i will pay it off then junk it! google "dodge dakota oil sludge"
