"> Last week I made the plunge and took my explorer in to get the X1 installed. I was told it takes only three days to install. It's been a week now so I called the store where I brought it in. Now I find out they(Sunray)needs the whole detecter sent in as they no longer make the upper shaft for the XS or something like that.........
To make a short story long......
I got the itch yesterday broke out the old GARRETT and hit the park ....WOW what a difference going back in time to use such an (old machine).No screen no different tones .....just turn on ....discriminate and go...... <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
After getting about $3.27 in clads and felt like I got my fill, I headed back to the car making that "LAST CALL" last dig last find.......herd the beep ... dug.... and my first silver of 2005 is a Roosie 59-D. old Garrett stil has it but BOY do I miss My Explorer.....
Weather warming up here and did get above 40 today.
Sad when I look forward to 40 deg. weather....but I'm told I gonna havta wait another week+ to get her back
