Field hunt, SLQ, Indian, Crotal bell

hunted the one room school, I just worked the field, the actual yard was filled with iron BAD... today got a few goodies, got my 1st ever standing liberty quarter, date is super faint, 1924, 1882 abused indian, a button, a small crotal bell and some decorative pieces, decent day!

Nice finds. Sounds like you gotta lot of good sites in Ohio. Went back to Illinois a couple of weeks ago, but with all we had going on, did not get to hunt, but going back once it gets warm again and hit alot of old home sites I remember as a kid.

You did good... AGAIN! How in the world do you find time to do all the detecting that you do? Even though I'm not teaching and am only working a part time job right now, I seem to seldom have time to do much of anything! That's why I get so excited about a simple trip to the Flea Market and to be able to spend a Saturday watching football. :shrug:

Lisa, I am unemployed, so going to school is my job. I have school 4 days a week, so fri-sun I detect like crazy!!!!!!! My wife enjoys the quiet time..lol
 
good job .... in thirty years detecting i have found over 20 crotal bells but only 4 have been complete!!
