Hi all,
Hit one of the ocean beaches yesterday and found my first gold ring in a loooooonnnnngggg time. I was using my 'Sovereign XS' with 11" 'coin search' coil and 'DTI II' meter.
It's marked '417' which puts it just shy of 10K. It's very light and that allowed it to be in with the all the clads. The heavy rings are deeper still.
Good, solid, mid-tone audio signal and a solid 100 on the 'DTI II".
Eighteen quaters, sixteen dimes, nine nickels, two copper pennies and some clad pennies. Very little junk.
