FINALLY got out yesterday

After a long winter here in the Boston area, I finally got out yesterday for my first hunt of 2005. I hit a park that I was shown by another forum member, Jeff from Mass., for about 3 hours and I managed to get my coil over a few keepers. I ended up with 3 Indian Head pennies and 2 Barber dimes, a 1903 and a 1908. The 1903 Barber was found in a hole with the square iron nail shown in the picture directly over it. I am willing to bet just about any other machine would have, and probably has, missed this target. The Explorer had enough highs mixed with the lowes that told me there was a coin in with trash. Simply put, it's an amzing machine.

Charles and I got out for the first time yesterday and found a few. Still need some warm weather to open up all the ground.

Thanks Charles. I learned from the best <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=""> I still feel that I have a long way to go though as far as questionable targets go. If I get in some good hunting this season I should get the hang of it. Hope to see you soon at Seated Park.
