Finally, got power back!

Back in only 6 days! I thought for sure they wouldn't have it back for another week With no heat or hot water and the temps dropping at night, it was getting pretty cold in here...
Had some neighbors from the powerless side of my street over for a BBQ night. Will probably have some others over today / tonight...

Finally seeing pics of "my" beach. It's terrible. The damage is overwhelming. Can't get down there... the roads are all closed (some of them are gone) and the beach will probably be closed for a very long time. On top of that, gas is EXTREMELY hard to come by. I waited on line for over an hour yesterday just to fill up 2 gas cans for the generator. Lines can be a mile long. People are waiting in long lines just hoping a station will GET a delivery.
