Got the book today and looked thru it for a little while and WoW that's quite an in-depth look at what this Speed Demon has to offer. Its gonna be alot of fun learning and there is alot to learn!

Got out for a couple of hours today in the 60's here. Best find was a no date largie. Not real deep, maybe 8 or 9 inches. Had a very nice solid tone. The more I use this machine the more I enjoy it!!

Thanks guys,

My buddie I hunt with was able to see a date. Its an 1825, my oldest coin to date. I found a really nice 1829 earlier this year. One reason the Deus is becoming a favorite of mine though is not its ability to find deep coins, its the rings and jewelry I have been finding.
Been re-hunting my areas I have pounded with the Etrac and finding some nice jewelry. I spent an hour this evening and found two more pieces. One is a very nice silver cross with Christ on it. The other piece was a junk earring. My Etrac would not have had a chance at seeing that cross at the depth it was.
