Finally thawing in the North East

Charles and I managed to find a few thawed spots in the local parks. Still some frost to chisel through but sure was nice to get out after nearly 4 months had passed since our last outing. Nothing great but did manage a 1907 Indian head cent, 1935 mercury dime and a half dozen wheaties.

you jumped right back into the zone with a silver and IH. Ahem you failed to mention though how close you came to slicing up that merc, glad it came out undamaged.

Nice finds Ed. I can't believe you guys have spots in NY that copper comes out looking like that. Around here, all copper comes out really rottin. You and Charles should come back soon and we all can hit that park we hunted at the end of the year. Jeff and Mike are always game.
Take care,
Todd
