At dawn this morning I was at a old park swinging my ML with the 15" WOT coil, running full open -16 IM, in anticipation of some silver. I also have the X-1 probe installed. The ground is dry as a bone and it's getting hotter as the morning continues. After about three hours, my arm will not work anymore, and the temperature is reaching 85 degrees. Only found some clad change. I wanted to continue detecting, so I stopped by the house and picked up my light detector, some soft drinks, and headed to a local park. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile (1,000 digs).

Thanks for the tip Holedigger.....:) I do have that book and forgot all about Andy's chapter on beach hunting. I just read it and it seems simple enough so I will give it a try. Thanks again. HH.
