Find a few things today with the Platypus Coil

Used the Platypus coil for the first time today. I like it. Cant really compare it to the other coils right now but it works good and is lighter than the 10.5 inch.

My finds: Large cent with no date, a smashed bugle mouth piece (I think), some sort of pin, small caliber musket ball, a piece of ornamental brass.

Oh.... and about 20 shotgun shells!!! Someone must have been out there with a street sweeper blasting away at the wildlife

I keep trying to hit is big at this site and find a little each time I go. Nothing great yet but I keep hoping, it dates back to the early 1700s. Lots of iron junk and a fair amount of iron ore in places.

I have a Platypus too although I don't have much time with it yet. Do you notice having to lower the sensitivity to do away with falsing? It's especially a problem at the beach. I seem to be able to run my stock higher.
