finding wheaties is ok, but this half is way better. i was doing a little strip about 3 weeks ago. between a black top jogging track and the river . it was not even a regular full swing in most places cause i was hitting the brush with the coil that went down to tthe river. i hit a 1962 candian cent. as i set the detector down to dig the what turned out to be that 1962 penny. i set it right down over a half which was blowing my ear drums out. pennys from canada come in pretty good and almost sound like silver dimes. i was hoping silver dime. a little bummed to get the penny. the half blew so hard i moved the minelab off it while i was digging the penny! oh and that penny was only 3 inches deep. i just about died when i went back over that loud 2nd singal. it was what i call a flicker coin . put the digger in the ground and flicked up that half. about 2 inches deep! it was in some sandy , kind of gravel soil. other than some fine scratches it pretty clean .
