After 9 hours in the water yesterday, I opted to sleep in today. I did go out late in the afternoon and finish my third soccer field which I started several days ago. I hit it in some of my spare time on the way home from work, and it took about 6 hours to complete. It's amazing what one can accomplish when one gives up on watching television.

Some people like to watch adventure on TV.....a lot of us prefer to live it!

yeah most of the fun in detecting is getting out & about the finds are the icing on the cake.
nice finds by the way

Yeah. A big waist of time watching TV. I'll go and waist a bit when I get off the computer.:poke:
I've got a friend who doesn't own one and he accomplishes a fair bit.
Mick Evans.

Yeah I agree with that. Metal detecting is a Lot more healthy than sitting around watching TV, eating chips and dips or other things that just put pounds on you. Getting out in the Great outdoors is great. One of Only hobby I have had that pays for it's self.

I like metal detecting when the ground isnt to hard, I get more exercise then watching tv and feeding my face lol. Every now and then, we find a neat item or two!
