FIRST EVER BARBER!!

New member
Went to a closed school which I have detected several times before and found my first ever Barber Quarter(1892). Also a 1949? 5 Franc (aluminum), Jap Rose Token and misc. clad. The quarter was down only about 2-3".

Nice quarter - "Jap Rose" is a strange name for soap. Congrats.

Congrats!

WTG on your first.

Nice! The closest I've been to a barber is when I get my hair cut! That costs me plenty. I've dug about 200 quarters and about the same in dimes, but not a silver in the bunch. Patience and providence pay off in time, but nothing is as effective as putting your coil over the gold or silver. Good job.
