My very first finds from my yard with a 705. I'm up to $1.11 in clad & pennies so far. Rusty nails and copper wire are The Devil!:ranting:

Your doing well and with more practice and by continuing to read the F&Q section at the top of this forum and Digger's new E-book "Understanding your X-Terra" from Minelab, things will only get better.

Great start! With a bit of practice, those old rusty nails will give you some tell-tale signs with their mixed audio report. But those scraps of copper wire can be a pain if they're coin sized or "wound up" in a ball. On longer pieces, you can distinguish them by sizing and shaping the target. But hey, with the price of copper these days, they are worth digging. Besides that, you'll be cleaning up your yard for future hunts. HH Randy
