First finds and a day at the beach! I love the Excalibur...works great

Well we had fun at the beach today. We found a lot of junk but, we also found some coin and a few things that were to large to pull from the ground (is it logical to bury a shovel
?). I have to say if I wasn't getting burnt to a crisp I would still be out there searching. You'll see my trusty sidekick Jess in the photos, I think she may be the proud owner of an Ace 250 here b4 too long. I'll have to get her on the forums so everyone can harass her! :p Regardless, enjoy the photos, sorry they aren't more inspiring but, I learned a lot from them today and we had a blast!
 
but it's honestly true that the more you can "be at one" with your machine, the more you'll find. You'll learn something every single time you head out with it - from now until the last day you use it. The more practice you get, the better it will work for you.

There's a diamond ring out there with your name on it - I can almost see it on that absolutely beautiful beach you're hunting there!

Add a trusty sidekick and you're well on your way to a very enjoyable future - here's to hoping it's profitable as well!
 
Looks like you are off to a good start, we all still find that kind of junk some days, keep at it and the gold will come. Nice pics. where are you hunting there? Beautiful water.. Tell Jess good luck also. Use sun screen or when you are my age you will regret it. HH
 
But you need to get yourself a good beach scoop and get out in the water with the fishies.
 
Jesse Here! Thanks for the Luck PaPa! Yeahhh, we used the sunscreen, but whne you decide to spend 11am till 5:30pm out there... it is unavoidable to go home without your legs looking like tasty lobster tails.

We just got back from our second trek out! More coin and crud, but it was fun diggin in the dirt for a couple of hours. Plus, we found ourselves new fishing grounds!
 
Hello MissSpark and welcome aboard lass! Noticed Dig is going to get you an ACE 250, do yourself a favor and get an Excal II 800. Huntress uses one (Excal 800) and sometimes I use it when she's not looking and it works REAL good. Lighter weight and easier to control for a lady pirate, like yourself. Expensive yes, but the finds column will be much better than the ACE AND you can get in the water and hunt, when it is sweltering. YOU WILL want to get in there eventually, as it's just a matter of time before Dig gets in there good. You are going to be asking for some of his finds and as a pirate, he has the right of refusal. When Huntress wants a piece of my booty, she has to trade a piece for it. I think she has 2 diamond cluster rings of mine, but I have one of her man's diamond rings too and a nice nugget she found. Go and get cher share, don't let Dig have all the fun, savvy? Here we are with the weapons.

Nice lode for the maiden voyage Dig and welcome aboard mate. You have a weapon of choice in me humble opinion. Get MissSpark an Excal II 800, she will do much better with it and you 2 can get in the water, when you get tired of messing around in the dry sand. The initial expense column will hurt a bit, but the bottom line potential could be something, if you are tenacious. Are you tenacious? Tenacious defined, according to Gulf Hunter........................25 straight hunts, with no gold and STILL did not quit, only to be topped recently at 27 straight hunts, no gold. No that's not 25 + 2, that is 25 in '06 and then another 27 this year! Press on, it will come. Sweep slowly and level, Excal does not like races, there is NO hurry, the gold is there if you listen. Best of luck to ya mate. How bout posting a pic of the control knobs on that fine unit, so I can take a gander at 'em? Set the knobs where you hunt them. ARRRRRRRR, you a pirate now?
