Howdy!
Was doing some open woods detecting & came across a couple of mason lids with my detector. I quickly realized I was probably on an old privy. There were no coins but I did manage to use my coin popper to probe a few bottles out-Nice and I rarely get thm intact...
But I also found a small childs toy cup or bowl. It is hand thrown & glazed. Has some minor damage & was fairly crudely made-but it looks old-a lot older than the bottles.No markings or decorations. But I'd consider an intact piece of childs pottery not only cool but a pretty rare find.
I made a privy probe & I'm heading back to see what else I can find...
