First go-around with my 505

First 505 hunt., 5 wheat's, tootsie toy and clad. I have lots to learn. Barbara with a F2 got 2 silvers,9 wheat's and more clad. Pin pointing was easy enough but I can see it will take some time to "be as one" with this 505

I wish I could say I did that good the first time I took my X-505 out. I would would say you did pretty damn good, Congrat;s on the nice finds.

You did well for a first outing. And I bet you learned a little about the 505.

Now the next thing to do is to go to the MineLab website and sign up (it's free and obligates you to nothing). Then go to the Members area and download Randy Horton's FREE e-book, "Understanding Your Xterra", and read it...twice. Then go hunting again and see how much more you find when you have a better understanding of what the machine's telling you. Then go home and re-read the book again. It's an easy read, and not that long or complicated, but it will enhance your hunting ability and enjoyment. Each hunt will bring new questions for a while, and each time you should poke your nose into the book for an answer because most can be found within.
