First Gold Ring of 2014

Finally, on my 13th or 14th hunt of 2014, I got my first gold ring of the year. A small 14K, 2.0 gram, gold ring. And the pic...
 
Nice find for the start of the year. 14k is better than 10k...good luck on future hunts.

Great find!!! What kind of detector do you use and how deep was the ring and what kind of number did it ring up ?

I was using a CTX with the stock coil. The ring was only about 4" deep and came in at a solid 12-03.
 
Thats a good ticket! Generally those 2 grammers with the filigree pattern make for a tough target...looks like you nailed it easily! nice work!:clapping:
