Unusual ring found in park today with my Explorer before the rain fell ... only 10K but has the date "1931" inscribed inside and is kind of different. The stone seems to be in about three layers. Note how thick it is in the side view.
I'm mainly a coinshooter and usually find jewelry on the beach but will take this anyday.

Nice camio Ring. Looks realy old. Any markings or hallmarks in the band? if so you can learn allot of where and who. provanance can add allot to the value the ring. Good luck with the finds

Actually it hit lower than I expected for it's size. Just off the bottom of the Smartscreen and approximately in the middle. I thought it would be higher up and to the right.
Usually I'm a coinshooter and don't dig this type of signal but it something made me. I get most of my jewelry in the summer by detecting on the beach and in shallow water so wasn't really expecting anything other than a pull tab or something similar. Just goes to show that you never know when you're metal detecting. If you want it all ... you have to dig it all.
