First Hunt of 2006 & my meager finds

SgtSki in MI

New member
Got off to a slow start today with the year's first hunt. The ground's a little frozen yet but I managed a 1917-S Wheatie and 3 memorials.

It's supposed to be warmer Sunday so if it's not raining I'll try again

HH,
SgtSki

Any finds are good finds as long as your hunting and enjoying yourself. I didn't do all that great myself today but had a good time with decent weather for a change. That's a pretty good looking 17-s wheat you got. Most of mine are pretty well pitted up.

Finds are finds and that is what counts. It is just the thrill of the hunt to go out and have hopes of finding the big "what if" that each detectorist wants to find. Hope you have better luck on Sunday if you are able to get out and HH.

I looked at the Wheatie again and it's actually a '17-D and not an S
