I got out for a couple hours and dug some more lead. It was windy and cold but fun.
 
I count 19. That's a pretty good afternoon's work! :thumbup:

We're frozen solid here. :(
 
It was 38 here. I still see red worms in almost every hole I dig. It is usually froze here by now.
 
Nice! Are they from the Civil war?
 
Yes they are all from the civil war. There was a early Union camp just across the road a piece. This was a training camp. I have found over 400 bullets in the last couple of years within a half mile of this camp.
 
That's quite a valuable collection. Good job!
 
You got yourself a nice lil hot spot there. I'm surprised that your not finding other things besides just bullets.
 
I have found a few things. I found buttons and dropped bullets in a field just down the road. This field has only have up one dropped bullet so far. There were several thousand troops camped not to far from this field.
