First hunt with the Garrett 2500 and Garrett Pro Pointer

I went to a site I've pounded with Fisher CZ units. I was surprised at how well this combo works. The Garrett
surprised me today I found a pocket full of clad 3 wheats a Mercury dime and a St. Christopher pendant. I
still love the CZ's and I had given up on several targets of these cause I didn't have a pinpointer but the Garrett is a very
nice machine and the propointer is awesome.

It really is a great machine, and being able to size a target allows one to get so many more coins in a given time. And the Pro-Pointer even increases your coin count as well. They are a deadly combo!

Yeah I liked the CZ's and tested a few for Fisher but the 2500 will do the same job.

Yeah the Mercury dime was only around 4 inches deep and the Wheats were around 6 inches deep. I believe as light as dimes are they couldn't go over 8 inches deep. Once they reach the hard pack they aren't going any deeper. Thanks for the comments. I'm really enjoying the 2500 and propointer.

I think you will be very satisfied with your detecting setup. It's what I use and I've done well with mine.

That is a great first hunt too. They are not all that good.
