Just bought a Fisher F2 and went out with my dad for my first hunt. The first coin i found was a 50 cent piece along with 14 other coins. Pretty good start. Couldnt fit them all in the picture.

Hey Buick, great hunt! Wait until you get to know that powerful little machine in your hands, you'll be coming home with 100+ coins per outing!

The F2 is a quarter machine, and it loves dimes, too, although you'll get zincs with those dang dime signals. When you first hit an area, go quick and slam the quarters and dimes, then go back over for the goodies. Just remember, a dime equals 10 penny digs, and a quarter is like finding 25 pennies, and you know how much work digging 25 holes is! LOL

Keep up the great work!

HH (happy hunting)

Yeah! A 50c for your first coin is a good sign...I believe mine was a penny, yes, 7 of them in fact on my first hunt now that I think back...Good Job!:clapping:
