First Old Homestead

Will be hunting my first old homestead this weekend.
This house has long been forgotten and is thick in the trees and brush. ( you would never know it was there if you didn't get out and look for it)
Nothing remains but the steps and the foundation.

Any advice on preparation / methods / areas to concentrate on / for hunting in such thick growth would be appreciated.
