Hi all,

I have just been too busy to crank out a good story with photos, but I do have this one ready. Here is my first signal at Cold Harbor in the trenches. Just goes to show the C$ with the 8" coil has the power. 40 yrs of detectors ran over this one.

The C$ did great all over Petersburg and Richmond and surrounds. I dug stuff down to armpit depth.

More as I get time.

That one came out nice! (Even if it is from the wrong team ) I'm glad to hear the C$ did well in Petersburg. I'm working on getting a permission in Petersburg the weekend after next. Looking forward to more reports.

>(Even if it is from the wrong team )

nah, don't jump to conclusions ..... I was not at Ft Powhattan
or Brandy Station .... I was on my own with my own crew or guys.
:) I know lot's of farmers.

I'm talking about the YANKEE button vs. a HOMETEAM (C.S.) button! I wasn't talking about the Ft. Powhatan guys. I'm not proud.....I'll take eagles all day! We were all talking about the buttons we dug at Brandy, and when we dug one with the face down, it was funny watching everyone hold their breath when they turned them over. I got plenty of eagles off of blue uniforms, but no C.S. buttons this time. Maybe next week!

I brought home a few POW's myself! I'm going back for more in a couple of weeks. You ready to gas up the Fisher pace car?

My 2 Rhode Island buttons came from a hill that was all CSA relics only.......
so did they "capture" a Yankee from RI? Or...did a soldier from the 2nd RI. corps ride into that rebel camp & take 'em all out? :starwars:
Yea, I like that theory better :lmfao:
