ok I was EXTREMELY lucky again coin roll hunting half dollars today.
The first few banks I got about $20 in loose halfs, all clad no silver. Then I hit a bank downtown in the poorer section of town, the lady said she had $500 in hand rolled halves in the vault, I told her I would take them all.
Well I started unrolling them and the first roll was all 1972's, the second roll was solid 1976's, then it started to get good! Roll number three was solid silver, all 1969's, then another solid silver all 67's..........on and on it went. I had 10 SOLID ROLLS of SILVER!!!! a few rolls were partial silver.
Totals from those rolls netted me 271 silvers!
