First silver 2023

Put my F75 SE together and took it for a test drive.
Sens 80
Disc 0
Proc de-bp
Notch 1
Tone 3h
The ring was 78 next to a quarter hitting 85 and bouncing around the high 70s. Popped the quarter out replaced the plug. From habit I swung over the plug again and hit the solid 78. Hence my first silver ring for the year. At another site I found a halve dozen token type objects. One was smaller with a date. Maybe a coin? Never seen one like it..hhrickinmi

Thanks Jim. It was fun and the weather here in michigan is so mild I had to hit the dirt. hhrickinmi

F75 is good hunter, I have dug a bunch of silver rings in and around the play fields. It does very well on silver coins as long as not super deep, that seems to be in The Legends wheelhouse.

Thanks Ron. I concur. I'm gona look in that direction. Eventually I'm gona break away from fisher.

Those F75's sure look sharp though. I would like to try one out. It appears to being doing the job! Nice hunt!

Digging 'B the F75's can be killer. Thanks Larbear 2. I've been looking very close at the Legend. I'm just not sure about trying to learn a new platform with a different detector. I've been running fisher for so long. I've had great results. I compare it to sonar units in the boats I've owned. I finally stuck with just one brand. But....my sonar units are still being built and improved almost every year...Fisher is not. hhrickinmi

Man, if I can do it, you can. You guys know I used and loved Fisher since the 90's. but Multi Frequency is great. And not hard to learn at all. HH jim tn

You maybe right Jim. And I do have more time on my hands lol. I'm planning on a 2-3 week trip to the U.P. we'll see..hhrickinmi
