First silver coin and no digging!

My wife and I are out in Palo Alto, Ca. on contract work and i have been hunting around Stanford University football stadium finding over 5 dollars in clad every Sunday when i go out. Today i hit the bike racks and hit a solid 40, brushed the few inches of leaves away, and there was the brightest looking coin. Almost like some one just dropped it out of their pocket recently. Been detecting for over three years and this is the first silver coin for me. Great way to start 2014.
Also found $4.84 in clad. 16 quarters, 8 dimes and four pennies.
