First Silver Coin

Tuesday I hit up my hunted out park for about an hour and ended with 7 nickels, 2 dimes, and 20 pennies

Wednesday started off with 9 pennies from the park in my morning hunt, Wednesday afternoon I hunted at an old shut down school yard and pulled my first silver coin a 1942 s war nickel plus another 4 pennies 4 dimes and a cat in the hat pin that appears to be gold plated over silver.

Thursday morning netted me another 7 pennies from the park in the morning. I got off on time and decided to hit up another tiny park. It was loaded with pennies, I pulled a nice quota, 79 pennies, 1 dime, 2 nickels and 2 quarters, a cake decorating tip, 30-30 shell, spoon and a old ?faucet? handle before I ran out of daylight. Ending the day with 91 coins

Congrads on the silver! You might want to throw that "faucet" in the garbage,that is a drug pipe for marijuana,I find them occasionally and they go right in the trash where they belong... HH

Lol, I thought it was very intricate for a handle. It is brass and copper so it will go into the metal bin rather than the trash. I was curious how it ended up in the wood chips, some stoner probably buried it when the cops drove by.

Thanks Guys, already itching to have another whack at that site. And Ive got a couple more virgin spots lined up to hunt closer to home. I have a feeling more silver is in my future.
