First silver for 2009 chipped from Montana ground

kickback

New member
It was -7 degrees F. this morning but warmed up to 7 degrees above zero this afternoon.I took the SE down to a bare spot in an old church parking lot.I found a 1961 penny and a beat up 1919 Mercury dime. Both were on edge.My neighbors came over with a propane weed burner to defrost the ground so I could dig the coins. They hunted for a little while and found two 1946 Wheaties in the same hole.I'm ready to head south in a couple of days for some warm weather and detecting.Nevada here I come.Bill

That's what I call determination kickback.:clapping: Maybe I should call it cabin fever, but you braved the elements and got out and you didn't get skunked. HH and good luck in Nevada.
