So its been awhile since my last post. I finally got out with my F70. Went with a friend to a cellar hole he found during the hunting season. Turned the machine on and bang out of the ground comes up this coin. It is a Walsh's General Store hard times token. Lansingburgh NY 1835. What a good way to start my year. HH Tim

Thanks Mudpuppy. I have the fever so I have to get into the detecting zone. One of my friends just picked up the F70 and boy is he in for a lot of fun. I'm taking him with me on Wednesday. Going to show him how to run the machine. I hope to have more stuff in the next few days as long as the rain stays away. HH Tim

Thanks jim. I am very happy to be out swinging again. Thanks Ez4sure yes I agree very cool. Skwerly to answer your question it was under 3inches of leaves on the surface right in the middle of the cellar hole. I brushed away the leaves and it was sitting there for me to take.
