First time out with 5.75 coil on Cibola

I found this little park by accident today. I mean small, maybe 3-4 acres. Has a baseball field, tot lot , volleyball area, and tennis courts. So i set the Cibola to sens. 10 and iron disc at first. As you can see I dug everything. I hit the tot lot and volleyball area and found all this. No silver or gold but I think it's there. Now don't get me wrong I love a Compadre but some of these coins were 7" deep. My blade on my Lesche digger was burried. So I don't think it would have found them. The cocentric coil was not effected by the red clay at 10 sens. I was picking up things very small like my Compadre would find. Trash was not a problem for the coil at all. By the end of the day I was tired and started cherry picking coins. I set it at the line before max on disc. to except copper pennies and dimes and quarters. Went around the trashy benches and found more coins. Man this is great I thought. Honestly I had considered buying a vid unit just for coin shooting. Don't think that's gonna happen now. With the combination of depth and discrimination on my Cibola with this coil it will stay on it for sure. Except for beach and relic hunting of course. Here are the totals for today at this park.

25c=$4.25

10c=$2.30

5c= $.25

1c=$.43

token, junk pendant, junk ring

Way to go! If you keep the disc that low and dig that many targets per hunt, I predict you will find some gold jewelry before long. :cheers:

Nice finds I like that coil on my Cibola also. I found out that it does really well finding coins the Cibola and my other detector missed with their standard coils in an extremely trashy area at one of the local parks. HH Jimmie

wow! great job

looking at the amount of trash you dug, you will find the precious gold soon
