Took the vista Smart + on its maiden hunt this morning just to get a feel for the unit.....hard to even find some pastures we could hunt but was granted permission on a farm that was just cut and the farmer said go ahead in this two week window before he re seeds again....anyway i enjoyed swinging the machine much lighter in weight then i expected and very easy to setup , GB and get started after watching the videos etc,.....after 2 hours didnt find too much today in this field but was able to pull out a tiny round colonial cuff button 8" down,, and some deep shot gun shells,......I was very impressed with the iron vol feature which let me hear the iron around the good stuff with no problem I kept the iron vol a bit lower then the high tone,....cant wait to get out there again an finally when fall comes i can go hit our good permission sites I know this detector will sniff deep with the 11" coil...to be continued.....good luck out there everyone !!
