Hi Guys Gals,
I have resently purchased a Explorer Se with a slim line coil from one of our members who helped arrange postage to me in Australia thank you very much mate
Anyhow back to my story
I have been using my xterra 705 in AM mode multitones for quite a while now but this Explorer Se takes the cake
Sounds Sounds all around ,highs ,mids, low grunts and nulls a bit taunting at first but then the info shes(explorer se) trying to tell me teach me starts to stick and as long as you don't mess with the control settings to much at the start of your training that is from the detector .
she really is a turn on and go machine and the depth you get out of the explorer se is great pulled a 1cent(the smallest coin in the photos Dia17mm) from 7 1/2 inches on the second hunt
I guess the more I listen to her (explorer se) sweet song of sounds the more I will find and the deeper I will dig.
I think it will only be a mater of time before I hear the almighty sound of the Silver warble
And the good old explorer se picked me up another predec on first hunt a 1957 penny nothing flash but hey still a predec
going to love learning and swinging this machine cant wait to hit the beach
Might even buy her a present a nice new 10 x 12 SEF coil if she's good to me
below are a few photos of the first two short hunts 4hrs approx
Happy Digger signing off
and thanks Minelab shes a beauty
