Got out for a couple of hours today. Went to the older side of a park that I have hunted a couple of times.
The first hit I got was a 1976 penny. From what I have been reading that is a good sign. After an hour and
a ton of can slaw
1 auto oil cap
an iron hinge that at 8" toned like a dime
37 cent in clad
I got a solid penny at 6" depth. I detuned and pinpointed the ACE and the EQ2 10x14" coil. Got my digger down to 4" or so and there just like the Videos sat Mr Lincoln right smack in the center of the hole. I picked him up but couldn't read the date, so I flipped him over and there were those two beautiful wheat shafts staring back at me. Man what a feeling. 1950 Wheatie. MY FIRST.
