Firtst hunt with new Se Pro

Okay, got up bright and early , unpacked the minelab, assembled it, and headed out to give her a test drive. Purposely went to some old haunts that I have recently been shooting with the old machine. Here is the verdict. 4 clad quarters, 5 memorials, 5 wheaties(earliest 1920). and one silver Washington, 1942, all in about 3 hours. I was pleasently surprised at the pinpointing, happy with the depth that some of these coins were found, and the ease of switching from digital to full screen. The emulator really helped me to get a jump start and I intend to leave it in factory pre set for some time. Also , not used to digging that deep ! I could not be happier with the first try, unless of course, I had found a lot more silver !

Mna we were having a tough winter down here in Texas , unusual, but 2 weeks ago it warmed up and been going all I can, but this new machine is AWESOME ! I thought being an old analog guy I would have trouble , but the research ahead of time paid off. It`s just going to get better and better. Hope weather breaks soon for Y`all. ! Randy

Congratulations on the finds and the new machine. I hope you enjoy your experiences with it and I'm looking forward to your finds.

My Se Pro found 10 wheaties, a buff nickle, a 42 jeff, 2 clad dimes, and a beautiful 1917 merc at 8 inches, all in about 3 hours today. It was also at at a house that produced zilch with my old Garrett. I love this thing and only have 6 hours on it. I am going to get deadly with htis machine and then, down the road, mat upgrade to a future minelab, but for now , this is just awesome !
