Do any of you have circuit for the 1266x
and how is this unit to a 1280 Wader?.
I want to put this in a waterproof case.

Personally 1280 has been an outstanding freshwater unit for years.To me just buying one would solve your problems and use the 1266 for land. I will bet almost anyunit can be made waterproof with the right expertise but a 1280 should serve you well in the water and the 1266 on land. Not a technical person but imagine their guts are very similiar nd would not be worth the time, expense etc. to waterproof a 1266. As far as schematics go companies do not include them with detectors as they want their own tech's to work on them for a properly working unit.
