Fisher 1270 on the way to me!!

I have a 1270 headed my way the only thing wrong with it is the external speaker quit working after the fellow plugged in a set of headphones. Any of you ever have this issue? I am just going to go ahead replace it once I get it here. Even though it's more than likely just dirt. Anyways I'm excited to swing a 1270 once again.

When you get it try quickly plugging and unplugging the headphones a few times to see if the speaker comes to life, worked on an older G2 I have.

The 1270 is one of my favorite Fisher machines.

This will be 3rd one I've owned and I plan on keeping this one in the stable for a while. Thanks for the tip I will give it a try to see if it fixes it if not I will install a new one.

Well I got the 1270 in and took the control housing apart to get to the headphone jack it was full of dirt and grime nothing a little circuit board cleaner and a Q-tip couldn't take care of. I put it all back together fired it up and the detectors speaker works fine now. This 1270 is a deep one it will hit my 10" dime in my test bed.

Yup! me to just picked up a absolutely mint 1270 for $250 shipped will be here April 30th had one before, great coin machine and it finds them gold rings too!

YEP 1270 is better than all the 1266 x's i have had ,got a cherry one in storage.
