Does anyone on here know the closest place to Ark. or can they recommend a good dealer that also does factory warranty work? My 1270, bought it last June, was built with out the bolt that goes thru the habdle to keep the control box on. The only thing holding it together is 2 very small screws and I am scared it is fixing to fall off. Someone please heeelllp. I am scared it is going to swarm on me <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry"> ...Tim

To my knowledge the only place that does factory warranty work is at "Fisher" in California. I don't have an owner's manual in front of me now but in the back of yours if it doesn't list any other service centers then it will probably have to go to Fisher. Ron at Dixie Metal Detectors is close to you but I don't know if he works on units. I sent my CZ20 to Fisher for some work, the turn around time was a little over a week and the work was perfect. If I were you I would try to use it till the weather gets bad, which should be soon then send it to Fisher.

JRG, I think that is what I will do. I will ck with Dixie in MS. Right now I am finding to much stuff to send it back, I may have to duct tape it together untill duck season gets here. Thanks...Tim
