Fisher F22

I have been looking at the F22. It is 2 pounds 5 oz. +- Is it nose heavy? I am 74 and lightness is a big concern. You being a young 82 I can imagine lightness is a big concern for you too? I don't want another $700 detector. Each season maybe be my last one. Can't count on next season for sure. This year there is rest time while hunting and never had rest time before this season. It was one continuous hunt until I got tired. Then I would go home. How is it in trash? How about different sites? I am looking for about 4"-5" range depth? I like 3-4 tones. I like assigning tones to nickles to make them high tones. I dig high tones. Most detectors are pretty good ID'ing at 3" mark that is good for me. Is the volume loud enough? I use notching for coin shooting. Run thigh numbers on the coins. Only dig coin numbers unless the F70 makes me think I should investigate. I like the F70 but swinging it for 3-4 hours is now becoming a little more of a chore than I would like it to be. Even a 1/2 pound lighter would make a difference? I have a Compadre and that is great to swing but not good for an old guy to get down 100 times and dig 20 coins the rest trash. The Compadre is fine in tot lots but don't much go there anymore. Nothing there most of the time, just stopped going to them. I know I am asking a lot but I am hoping that some people with a F22 will add to this also? I know most people like a new detector until they get a few hunts under the belt and start to see that it isn't going to work with their kind of hunting. So Jack would appreciate any kind of advice? I know you gave me some good advice some time ago and appreciated it. Thanks again ......Z/Jerry
