Fisher F4 4" coil?

I have the 4" coil to go along with the stock 11" DD. Regarding recovery speed, it is about the same as the DD which is incedibly fast, I would be very surprised if you are concerned about recovery speed on either coil. Ofcourse, the 4" hit less targets per swing, so recovery speed becomes even less of an issue. I don't use my 4" coil much, because it does lose depth. You are going to lose a couple of inches of depth with it. That said, the 4" is a great choice in a very trashy site and doesn't cost much.

Yes I agree with Frank.. speed wont be a problem with the Fisher.. the limiting factor will be your ability to distinguish signals.. meaning slowing down a bit in trashy spots.
