I'm selling my F4. This is a great machine that I've spent 50 hours+ with. I've just recently taken the plunge on an F75. I can tell you this F4 is a breeze to use compared to the 75
. I've had a blast with it (which seems to be something reviewers miss - was it fun?)! It's very well built, light, and has great target ID.
I'm asking $300 for the detector with an 11" DD coil, 8" concentric, and 4.5" "sniper" type coil.
I poked the face plate with a knife and covered it with industrial clear tape. You can see it in the pic. It looked like the knife only dented the plastic covering, but I didn't want to take the chance of humidity getting under it. I also made a simple modification where I put a head phone extension through the shaft and out the top (behind the elbow). The other end ,when not in use, velcros to the back. It made it easier to use with headphones. I can remove it if wanted.
