Fisher F4

Thinking of upgrading from my BHQDII to a Fisher F4. Seen a video on it but hardly any posts on numerous forums about this machine. Please tell me likes and dislikes about this machine. The pinpoint feature allowing use of it without holding the button in will be a big help to me due to my loss of dexterity in my hand. Please post about this machine.

The F4 is required if you need to specifically balance the ground out
The F2 is a pre balanced F4 forgeneral aplications
I have owned a F2 and it is light and accurate and the pinpoint is quite easy to access with your thumb if you are able. The button is not hard to press in.
good luck

The F4 that I owned (before my F5) would stay in pinpoint mode with just a single press of the pinpoint button. To exit the pinpoint mode, you just pressed the Disc mode button to resume searching.

The F5 pinpoint button must be held in.

I have an F4 and it is a good machine...easy to use and finds stuff...even my son likes it (and he doesn't detect very often), and I know if he's coming detecting then I have to use another machine.

The F4 gives you all metal as well as manual ground Balance on top of the f2.. also it comes with the 11' DD coil, which is a big difference. We have the f2 and f4 they are both fast and accurate.

The F2 with no discrimination is akin to all metal
pinpointing with a F2 round coil is easy the DD not so easy.
using the F2 pinpoint is about half as difficult as using a cigarette lighter if that helps
