Fisher f5

Lots of people are good with this one, a recognised notable guru is Mike Hillis.
He has posts all over this forum about using this thing and I am not sure what exactly you are looking for but if you do a search they will all pop up.
He is good with many detectors but he has written enough about the F5 that a guy named Sven gathered it up into what we call the "F5 Bible".
You can get this info if you go to the last post in this thread on page two and hit the link which will take you to Sven's site.
At the bottom of that page you will see F5 tips and tricks...you can download it there.

Mike also still hangs out here so if you need more info about something specific just ask, Mike or someone else that knows this fine tool will come on and help you out I am sure.
My Fisher has a pad but knobs are cool!

Shawn, I wouldn't call myself the F5 guru but I do know how to use one and how to set it up . I've had one for almost 3 years now and it's the only detector i own so I've gotten pretty familiar with it. If you've got a question about the F5 I'll try to steer you in the right direction.

Cant wait to make mine work
