Fisher :fisher:F75SE Brings Home The Silver:detecting:

I was dragging butt again this morning and didn't get to the site until around 9:45. I thought I would try out a new site today to see what I could dig up. After digging a couple of wheat pennies I knew that there had to be some silver there as well. It didn't take long before I popped my first silver quarter. Shortly there after I got a mixed funky ID and tone. I almost decided not to dig, but my curiosity got the best of me. I'm glad I did, I popped a shallow on edge silver quarter. I rescanned the hole and about 4 inches from where I dug the first I got another high tone. I was about 99% sure that it was another silver coin even before I dug it. I finished the day by finding a mercury dime next to a sidewalk. All the coins were shallow except for a couple of wheat pennies. Around noon I headed to the car. Enough work for one day.:detecting:

Oh yeah, I was running in the boost mode, sensitivity was set at 85, discrimination was set at 7 and I using 4H tones.

Four silvers is a very happy day..way to hunt tabman..

tabman, What a great day to get four silvers, Never personally found four divers in a day Congrats Ezra.

Thanks everyone. I probably could have found another silver coin or two, but I didn't want to set the bar too high for myself. As it stands now all I have to do is find 5 pieces of silver in one day to beat my present record. How hard can that be? :detecting:

Tab don't ask me to break that record, what a layer of silver , I love those pictures of the coins just out of the hole , its inspiring.

How do u like the nel sharpshooter compared to the stock 11dd?

Tough call. They both work great! The Sharpshooter seems to work a little better at trashy sites and is a little easier to pinpoint with. When I'm at large wide open sites that are not all that trashy, I grab the 11 inch DD coil for more depth and faster coverage.
