Fixed MXT at the Front Door.. Update

White's did me good with the repairs. I commend them for the speed at which they fixed the calibration problem and the minimal cost of repair $94. They replaced the cuff, screen, headphone jack all the necessary bolts and wing nuts. I slapped on the Ellipse coil and tested the coil with coins. The readings were spot on for the nickel at 20, quarters a little high at 87 and pennies and dimes were close together at 78-80. Overall all looseness and wobble is gone in the shaft, and headphones are happy once again. I do not know how they recalibrate the board, but FYI, no parts were listed on the invoice related to replacement of board parts. Calibration must be in adjusting and tuning only. High points for quality and service. I tip my hat off to White's!

I never had to deal with customer service at Whites but reading these stories makes me more confident that I chose Whites detectors.

That didn't take long at all and I'm happy that you've got your machine back. Whites has always had a fast turn around and at a great price. They've treated me right when I had the same problem years ago. Can't beat Sweet Home!

their service is top notch. i dont mind paying for good service. i do read and see that the MXT readout may vary a little than the MXT PRO or ALL pro. my old series e tracker reads a nickel at 18. a friends dfx does it at 20. but both machines are consistent at reasonable depth. thats quality
