Flooding

Wet and Dry

New member
I got the new water machine less then a month ago. Had it out only four times to try it out before leaving on holidays. While trying to see if it would pack into my carry on, I notice the coil had water running around inside. Another problems is that I store the machine hanging with the coil up and I'm wondering how much water is inside the cable now? This will be a great time to see how well the service is on the warranty and the turn around time. Being a Canadian it will be interesting to see how it works with Customs. I did not say the make or model for my own reasons. Has anyone every had coil flooding because I thought all coils were water proof.

Most have a coil cover that needs to be removed and the sand and water cleaned out. Some of these covers are very hard to remove.

Brand New machine. No coil cover for it. The water is definitely inside the coil. It's a 12 inch coil. Never seen this before on any of my machines.

I've rarely heard of this happening but it does.

Any hairline crack on the bottom or issue with the grommet going into to coil could allow water there.

If it's new and still under warranty, I would send it in for service fast!

Thanks!

Already sent today. Only about a month old so warranty should be no problem. UPS said it would be there on the sixteenth. The saga begins.
